Recollect Central West is a digital space to capture and share history, heritage and stories of Central West NSW.

 

Member Participation

Please register as a member.  You can add information about anything you find.  The objective is to continually grow and add to Orange and the Central West’s stories and collections.

 

As a member of Recollect Central West we welcome and encourage you to interact with the content by contributing and sharing additional information relating to any of the items on the site.  You are welcome to share material on this site to social media or between individuals on a non-commercial basis, but please acknowledge the information by including acknowledging the source. Acknowledgement details can be found on the right hand side of the record in Recollect.

 

Central West Libraries is always interested in obtaining material to add to the collection, either as a loan of items to digitise or as a donation. Please contact us if you have a collection of images, videos or memorabilia you wish to share.

 

Guidelines of using Recollect Central West

§     Do not post personal information about another member

§     Do not use obscene language

§     Do not insult or defame any person or organisation

§     Comments on moderation policies or procedures should be forwarded via the feedback form to Central West Libraries – recollect@cwl.nsw.gov.au

§     Breaches of the guidelines may result in a member having access to the site blocked, and/or content removed or edited

§     Central West Libraries reserves the right to edit any information.

 

Please note all content is moderated and will be reviewed to determine if the content is safe and appropriate to the site audiences.  Items not relevant to Orange and the Central West may be not be approved. (The Central West is deemed to be the footprint of Orange, Blayney. Cowra, Forbes and Cabonne Local Government Areas).
